Hi. I’m Shaan.

I’m a celebrant, facilitator and someone who has always been fascinated by people’s stories — what shapes us, what changes us and what matters most.

My background in education, facilitation and personal development has taught me how to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions and create space for people to tell their stories in their own way.

There’s something special about being given someone’s story

I love public speaking. I love storytelling. And I love the energy of bringing people together for a moment that matters.

But what I love most is the privilege of telling someone else’s story well.

I’m fascinated by the details that make a relationship, a family or a life unique — the unexpected beginning, the private joke, the difficult chapter, the person who made a difference, the values that have held everything together.

My role is to listen carefully, find those threads and bring them together into something meaningful.

Because when we gather to celebrate someone, we’re doing more than marking an occasion.

We’re saying: this matters. You matter. This story matters.

That is what I love about being a celebrant.

I get to stand in the middle of those moments — to tell stories, create connection, make people laugh, perhaps shed a tear or two, and most importantly, help people feel genuinely honoured and celebrated.

My own experiences of change and starting again have also taught me something important:

The moments that mark a new chapter matter.

And I believe they deserve to be celebrated thoughtfully.
